Hello, I’m Beth. I currently live in the beautiful countryside location of Mow Cop with my partner Ben and our 3 awesome children.
We are lucky enough to live on a small farm and share it with our dog Leah who I’ll tell you about shortly, our horses, sheep and chickens, all of whom have become a huge part of the family. I have been lucky enough to have animals all of my life and a house is never a home without them.
Going back to our dog Leah – she was rescued from a kill kennel over in Spain and brought here to us. She was a feral street dog with no manners, training, or any idea how to be loved. She is now my shadow and loves nothing more than helping me on the farm. We have quite the bond! Since having Leah I have gone on to do various rescue dog training courses and pride myself on being able to take on tricky dogs.
Horses are my other passion. I spent 14 years riding all over Europe, meeting some very talented riders and trainers until finally settling in 2014 when I bought my first horse Harvey. After a few years competing and some injuries he now lives at home with me and his little Shetland friend ‘Badger’. I am experienced in all areas of equine management and have a qualification in equine reiki, making my approach calm, collected and friendly.
I am fully insured, DBS checked and First Aid/CPR trained and I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets and having lots of fun with each one of them.

Hi, I’m Jon, I have worked outdoors for most of my career and the opportunity to join my sister in this business was too good to ignore. At university I studied Environmental Conservation and this gave me an appreciation of nature and wildlife. I spend most of my spare time roaming the country seeking out rare butterflies so dog walking allows me to combine my passion for the outdoors with my love of dogs. It really is the perfect job!
As a child I was terrified of dogs, I would run and jump in to the nearest adult’s arms at the first sight of one. My parents worked hard to help me overcome my fear and it was thanks to my Nan and Grandad’s poodle Sam that I realised dogs really are man’s best friend. He barked a lot which was scary at first but once we got to know each other all we did was play. He was such a clown and very loyal.
Later we got our own dog, my best girl, Tamsy the miniature schnauzer. She was as mad as a box of frogs but the most gentle and loving of dogs. Training her was great fun and walking her introduced me to lots of other dogs who would always come to me for a fuss. Others have said that I have a natural affinity with dogs and I do think that they can tell those who enjoy interacting with them from those who don’t.
Beth’s current dog, Leah, was quite aggressive when we first met but within an hour we were best buds and now she jumps on me as soon as I arrive, whether that was entirely down to me or the table scraps I fed her we’ll probably never know for sure, but I like to think that I’ve played a part in calming her, building her trust and helping her to see men as less of a threat.
I have gained experience caring for dogs in their own homes through friends trusting me to take care of their pets knowing they’ll be in safe hands while they are away and the dogs have always seemed to enjoy themselves. I am qualified in dog first aid and DBS checked. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
